Green Lakes hike yesterday! My phone camera really struggled with catching the color correctly but the really bright blue/green is the most accurate, if you can believe it!! The trails were well beaten or paved but it’s maybe not my favorite place to hike so far, I think because of all the cabins and people. But that lake is spectacular! I’ll have to try other trails there, too. (When did my insta become all hiking pictures?!) Haven’t posted in a while, just been trying to get through the dark days of winter (the SAD and the sad hit very hard this year) soul weary I needed to get outside so we hoofed it to some waterfalls. I was so excited to see the very start of little irises, too!!! I couldn’t believe it!! Also the sun sets around 6 pm now!! There’s physically more light in our lives, at least!! The plant adventures continue!! Greenhouse hopping with @speedyrunnergirl is so much fun! From cacti and succulents, to orchids, moss structures (that look like a jungle camouflaged person), giant palm fronds, greenhouse selfies, beautiful and hidden anthuriums, more rate orchids, and the start of the corpse flower process. Phew, good thing we worked up an appetite and got Maru ramen after (my first time there!). Best plant adventure ever!!! Thank you @speedyrunnergirl !!!! We went to A New Leaf and saw all of the cutie plants and walked away with a few ourselves! Meeting Greg was great and he and Rosika know so much, I was in awe!! I think we controlled ourselves decently well considering how many beauties there were!!! I will post a picture of my new plant babies once they are done in quarantine!! (That begonia in the pictures came home with me and a string of turtles!! So many cuties I got!!
